#145 - RAVI DIXIT - Yoga is not a class
We sit down with Indian yoga teacher and retreat centre founder Ravi Dixit, to explore what yoga actually means beyond postures and flexibility.
Ravi shares his unusual upbringing learning mantras from his grandfather, his perspective on how yoga is understood in India and the West, and the devastating road accident that left him in a coma and critically injured. We discuss karma, tradition, “authentic yoga”, the role of asana, and why Ravi believes yoga is ultimately less about what happens in class and more about how we live.
At the heart of the conversation is a beautifully simple idea: yoga is ultimately about creating harmony — not simply with the world around us, but first “between you and you.” @raviyoga_goa
