#147 - ANTHEA BELL - Embodiment Without the Fluff

Anthea Bell is an embodiment coach whose work sits at the intersection of mind, body and identity, shaped in part by her own long recovery from anorexia.

In this conversation, we try to get beyond some of the increasingly vague language around embodiment and nervous system regulation. We talk about learning to tolerate discomfort rather than constantly trying to fix it, why wellness gadgets and optimisation can sometimes take us further away from ourselves, the limits of “listen to your body”, AI versus genuine human connection, body image, self-trust and what it actually means to feel at home in yourself. @ab_embodiment
